Water Surface Tension on a coin!

Today we did a little experiment on the surface tension with water. We were very interested in how many drops of water we could get on a ten cent coin.We all had a lot of fun counting how many drops we got, our high score was 32 (so far). We also tried it on a small cup that was really interesting as well.

Seasonal Cycles

On Friday we used watercolours to paint the cycle of the seasons from the perspective of a tree.  The results were fabulous.

The Water Cycle

Today the students in Room 3 worked in groups to create a visual representation of the water cycle.  Turned out pretty good.

Hit It

Today we had Hit It with Henry.  Henry taught us how to play tennis and all the rules so we could have fun playing it some other time. We learnt backhand hits and forehand hits and how to balance the ball on the racket without letting it fall off. We all had a lot of fun playing tennis with our buddies.  By Charlie
